Here’s a comparison between the arcade Ghouls n Ghosts art, and the European box art that tried to make it more realistic/serious (or as it’s also known as, “Westernizing”). Every single decision the European artist made is puzzling. They gave Arthur future armor… Also, “These skulls need more personality! They’re practically dead in the other one!” As I will show you later on this blog, Capcom made an unfortunate habit of this in Europe.
