Since no decent quality high resolution version of this awesome Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake box art exists online, I figured I’d remedy that situation.

Final Zone, Genesis.
A not-so-shabby entry in the Final Zone series of box arts, though not as cool as the Japanese release.

Space Invaders PC-Engine cover from Taito. As a kid, I never even bothered to imagine what the object I was controlling really looked like, but I guess this makes sense. Kinda like how Futurama interpreted it.

Alien Brigade (1990) for Atari 7800. Kinda reminds you of Resistance: Fall of Man, doesn’t it?

Cliff Hanger Edward Randy (Data East - arcade - 1990)
Not to be confused with Cliff Hanger, the laser disc game made from footage of The Castle of Cagliostro.
Also not to be confused with the terrible home console game Cliffhanger, based on the Sly Stallone movie of the same name.
from Wikipedia: “The game is set in a steampunk (or, rather, dieselpunk) worldview, where many scenes and settings are directly modeled after Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, including a whip-wielding main character, Nazi-like enemy army, and battles that take place on biplanes. The game also contains parodies or homages to works by Hayao Miyazaki and Buster Keaton.”
