Bakushou Yoshimoto No Shinkigeki/Yoshimoto Comedy (1994) by Hudson Soft/Red Entertainment on PC Engine. The game was a crappy collection of bland platforming and comedy “skits” minigames. It’s strange that this was so lame since Red developed some really good stuff elsewhere.

This is All Japan Pro Wrestling Featuring Virtua… wait a minute, I was sure that said “Featuring Virtua Fighter”… weird. Anyway, I was a huge Virtua Fighter nut at the time, and was someone who disliked post-NES wrestling games. This game got me pretty excited. It led to Giant Gram on Dreamcast, which may still be my favorite wrestling game ever, though it’s been a while since I’ve played it.

Here’s the continuation of the Operation Darkness (2007) art from the previous post, illustrated by Yoshio Sugiura. The game, despite possibly having an interesting premise as a strategy game, was objectively terrible. It got panned by almost every reviewer who touched it, though there were a few who considered it a hidden gem. That didn’t translate into sales, unfortunately for Atlus.

This is art by Yoshio Sugiura for Operation Darkness (2007) on Xbox 360 by Atlus/Success. This was a World War 2 military strategy RPG involving werewolves, vampires, and dragons. I have a lot more art from the game, so I’ll split this across two posts. The next post shows Hitler himself.
